What is a Seedbox?
Simple, it is a remote server located on a fast internet connection that you log into using your computer from home or anywhere, and using its simple user interface uTorrent WebUI, download a file say 700 meg in around 7 minutes, then using a simple FTP program connect your computer directly to the server and download that file at the speed of your account for most people on ADSL2 it is around 1.5-2 M/s.
Why Use a Seedbox?
Due to increasing problems with ISP's throttling P2P and Government internet filtering, we have found a solution and are currently setting up high speed servers based in Europe.
"Imagine this" if Australia implements a rule that is being enforced in France - where the user is logged downloading copyrighted material by the anti-piracy organization, the ISP is contacted, and you are sent a cease and desist letter upon recieving 3 such letters, you will be then banned by your ISP and more than likely blacklisted from the internet network ISP's in your country permanently.

Take note: for many users, a 'metered' account is a better (cost efficient) option.
Fair use seeding is upto 10:1 ratio, then slow down to have some respect to the bittorrent-community.
Requirements: you only need a recent browser, working internet and a cleverly adjusted FTP-client (like CuteFTP v7).
Effective speed: no one can predict! To many variables! Our servers are on 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps).
Tasks (metered accounts): max. 1024 torrents, max. 32 active torrents, max. 5 running downloads.
Tasks (un metered accounts): max. 256 torrents, max. 24 active torrents, max. 2 running downloads.
Payments: prepaid (per month or several months), Paypal, Contact sales@seedboxesaustralia.com for instructions.
Renewal: at some time, we remind you about it. You keep in control of payments. No payment, then things stop.

Privacy: we respect your privacy, we don't log anything, except things we need to keep things going.
Public torrents: requires seeding to 100% (1:1 ratio). Alternatively remove them from your torrent-list when done.
Private torrents: seeding to any percentage (ratio).
